COMPANY HISTORY:
The company was founded upon the retirement of the principal, Richard Huber, from employment with a major Canadian Utility. Mr. Huber worked for utilities and industrial organizations for 40 years, primarily in areas related to the operation and maintenance of large motors and generators. Richard Huber Engineering Ltd. was founded to provide maintenance related services to industrial organizations as well as large and small utilities.

The company offers a wide range of services that cover virtually all aspects of major repair or replacement projects. Examples of projects carried out to date are; the preparation and review of specifications for the disassembly of a large synchronous motor, assessment of the quality of insulation sytems applied to new generator stator bars, failure analysis, preparing and reviewing new equipment specifications and performing generator condition assessments.
